Longing for peace

...the day I land a women as wonderful as you.... that would be the
day. The sun might shine again, and the clouds roll back
the ocean will calm, and the fish will be plentiful
one will be able to look over the ridge and see the ocean in the haze.

Seagulls will float gently into view, on a warm breeze, and bark their
laughter at us , and the grass will grow green and soft, with nearly a
weed or a thorn to sully your bare feet
and I'll be able to put down my coffee and not drink from it again

Time will suspend monetarily, and we will live in that very moment,
forever,
and never leave
