What a great way to open. No doubt you are one who can prattle with loved ones, even using a singsong lilt in your speech to draw the listener toward your words. I can see it in the photographs, and it is almost stamped on your forehead (Here is a daughter of Brooklyn, and loving mother), "This is a women of substances, who uses thoughtfulness and rebut, who can be both playful and strong" If you always agreed, laughed, and followed, what would be the cause for conversation? No. Using your own metaphor which was slipped in to your letter, your conversation is without a doubt bold and overflowing. I'm sure that your deep and penetrating conversation connects with the heart. Perhaps friendships come not as quickly for you as with with others, but they wrap themselves like pearls on a string, ornamented around your neck, each new pearl collected, unique and cherished. And with each one your confidence and comfort grows. People sense it. And they come to you to share in your strength. When you laugh, no one needs question if it is from the heart. And when you smile, no one needs to question if it is deception because that is not how you are. You thoughtfully give your opinions, not hurtfully, but in a way of mature love. That makes it worth ones time to listen. To some you might seem to be overtly sentimental and attached to things and people, But being sentimental about the physical objects is just an extension of what they represent. It's not so much being a hoarder, but a collector of memories and a need to keep the physical items that call them forth. I could be wrong about all of this. But that is how I read this, and that is what it means to me. It reminds me of family and loved ones who are very close, past and present. And it is my nature to try to emulate this. Ruben PS - I also like a plate full of hot chilli and tacos, but that is another matter.
