Greetings I am an 30+ year experienced pharmacist who began my career in the Military, and moved on to hospital and retail experience. Additionally, I have a masters degree in computer sciences where wrote a thesis on bio-computational mathematics (specifically with regard to evolutionary sciences). I was accepted to a PhD program abroad, but family matters required my remaining in the NYC area. I'm very familiar with working with teams, and I'd dealt over the years with individuals in the healthcare system from top to bottom. I've lead journal meetings, worked critical care satellites, worked alongside nursing staffs, under the sterile products compounding hoods, in formulary selection, ID consultation, and more. I have simultaneously pursued an interest in Computer Sciences which included stints working for the NYU College of Dentistry as the lead intranet programmer and sysadmin. I've worked fore years with NYLXS teaching programming, largely in underserved areas of New York City. I finished my Masters Degree in 2017. I have lived in Brooklyn the majority of my life, raised in East New York and Canarsie and raising my children in Flatbush. I am fully aware of the complexity of our communities and the difficult job ahead of us in tracking and fighting the Coronavirus SARS2 virus. I remember vividly the start of the HIV epidemic and how hard tracking was at that point. I would like to submit my application as a tracker and as a supervisor. I think my experience would be best used as a supervisor, but I am perfectly happy to work in the trenches. I'm fully trained in HIPAA compliance and have current training. I am used to dealing with the public, even when things are stressful. Please consider my application. I can get recommendations, and have letters of recommendations available.
