I need this letter ASAP from you to get to the court on Thurday. I have a lot of people I need to get letters from so the sooner you can write it the better. Here is an outline for you. Judge Deloris Thomas I'm Maya (I forgot your last name). I was the owner of Royal Pharmacy which was located on Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. I met Ruben Safir when he walked into my store before Purim in 2009. I was the sole owner of the store, and under a lot of pressure with my children being very young. I tried to hire Ruben for a day a week, mostly Fridays, but right after I hired him, his wife left him and he became too depressed to work. He was simply in no condition to work and he is still suffering from depression. In fact, i think his depression has gotten worse since losing his position at Kensington Pharmacy because he has no money and no support. Shortly after that, I sold the store because I couldn't make a profit. I'm a religious Jew, and since I sold the store, I have also been unable to find and work. It is so hard to be a Pharmacist and be Jewish that I'm giving up on my career. So I can say with certainty that Jewish Pharmacists find it extremely hard to find jobs. After we released Ruben, he found a job at Kensington Pharmacy, and after I sold my store, He needed coverage for court dates, so he called me to cover the store, which I did. The store was on Church Avenue and East 3rd Street. The young men who owned the store sold in December, ending one of my only sources for work. The new ownership is Pakastani and have Pharmacists in the family. They let Ruben go. He has called me many times asking if I have leads for work. I've have a few connections, but nobody is willing to hire a Jewish Pharmacist. I know he has passed his resume to me in the last six months, and I've given it out. I know he has also walked the streets handing his resume to different Pharmacies and has done this for months. We have also talked about possibilities of opening another store, but my expereince in Pharmacy was so negative, that I don't have any faith in it any longer. It is almost impossible for Jewish Pharmacists, especially older ones to find work, and the profits for stores very thin. I can testify to these facts because I've had the same trouble finding Pharmacy work as Ruben, and we talk very frequently. We call each other when ever either of us have job leads. I know for certain that he has been out of work since January. Also, I know that Ruben turns over every leaf to find work. That's how I met him, he just walked in with a resume, and I know he has done that in the last few months. Maya ...
